Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient shop floor operations to achieve highest levels of customer service, sales and profit
- Support management team in personnel management, product and merchandising functions, and business processes
- Participate in weekly management and staff meetings
- Communicate marketing and sales promotions clearly to staff
- Drive shop floor sales and exceed store targets by motivating the team
- Foster positive store experience by treating customers and colleagues fairly and consistently
- Support team in delivering business strategy with consistent training on product knowledge and store maintenance
- Achieve company standards for personal sales results including sales versus budgets, sales per hour and units per transaction
- Perform manager-on-duty functions including store opening and closing
- Build repeat customer base by ensuring staff accountability for unparalleled service
- Execute visual merchandising directives for sales floor and back room, ensuring consistency
- Collaborate with management team to develop talent pool for key positions and identify potential successors
Qualifications
- Previous track record of supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand
- Previous people management experience with ability to resolve conflict and unproductive disagreements
- Effective communicator with strong relationship-building capabilities
- Team player who recognizes and celebrates contributions of others
- Confident in giving feedback that promotes positive behavioral change
- Ability to work well with change and adapt quickly with pace
- Energetic and authentic presence on the shop floor
- Can-do approach with initiative to find in-store solutions
