Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with the store management team to build business opportunities and achieve sales and wage budgets, sales per hour (SPH), units per transaction (UPT), conversion rates, expense control, shrinkage targets, mystery shop standards, store audits, and profitability goals
- Identify opportunities to collaborate with cross-functional teams to grow the business and improve overall performance
- Foster a positive and inclusive store environment by treating all customers and staff members in a fair and consistent manner
- Ensure door-to-floor best practices, visual merchandising directives, and standards for the sales floor and back room are executed consistently
- Communicate regularly with the buying team to ensure correct stock levels and demographically appropriate inventory availability
- Analyze store-level reports and performance data, creating targeted action plans to improve results
- Communicate daily with staff regarding individual sales goals, key performance indicators, store results, product sales information, and brand initiatives
- Manage manpower planning, identification, recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and orientation processes
- Provide comprehensive training, coaching, and mentoring to employees on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis with appropriate documentation
- Lead weekly management meetings and other staff meetings; participate in and contribute to regional meetings
- Make sound decisions and commitments based on available information, even under stressful and changing conditions
- Set challenging but attainable goals with emphasis on service quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance
- Coordinate appropriate action plans while considering consequences and budget constraints
- Convey clear ideas and goals, manage implementation effectively, and deliver measurable, achievable results

Qualifications
- Progressive retail experience with demonstrated success in store management
- Store management experience in the service or retail industry
- Extensive experience delivering a high level of customer service in a brand retail environment
- Proven retail operations, budgeting, planning, sales, and people management experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with ease
- Team player who recognizes and celebrates the contributions and achievements of others
- Ability to give constructive feedback that promotes positive behavioral change
- Strong people management skills with the ability to resolve conflict and manage unproductive disagreements
