Tommy Hilfiger seeks an Assistant Store Manager for Bicester Village, leading kids' retail operations and team performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead store teams to generate sales and profit whilst minimising losses and creating exceptional customer experiences
- Ensure the store is visually distinctive and impeccably maintained in accordance with corporate merchandising directives
- Identify opportunities to grow the business and improve performance through cross-functional collaboration
- Complete daily and weekly store walkthroughs to evaluate product performance, pricing, staff service levels, and inventory
- Analyse store-level reports and develop action plans to improve operational and financial results
- Communicate sales performance, business drivers, and priorities to the Store Manager; develop weekly visual presentation action plans
- Support manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of store personnel with diverse backgrounds and perspectives
- Work with the Store Manager to build bench strength and develop successors for key positions
- Participate in weekly management meetings and staff communications; clearly communicate store and individual performance goals
- Focus staff on relationship-building with internal and external customers to develop a repeat customer base
- Partner with the visual merchandising team to ensure clear communication and understanding between VM and store operations
- Achieve exemplary mystery shop results and provide coaching that promotes positive behavioral change
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of progressive retail experience
- Minimum 2 years of store management experience in the service or retail sector
- Effective communication skills with the ability to build relationships with ease
- Strong people management capabilities with ability to resolve conflict and disagreements
- Confident in providing feedback that promotes positive behavioral change
- Team player who recognises and celebrates the contributions of others
- Adaptability and ability to work effectively with pace during periods of change

Experience
Minimum 4 years of progressive retail experience, with at least 2 years in a store management capacity within the service or retail industry. Leadership experience in a fast-paced retail environment is essential.
