Role & Responsibilities
- Lead store teams to generate sales, profit, and minimize losses while creating exceptional customer experiences
- Maintain and enforce corporate visual merchandising directives and standards for sales floor and back-room areas
- Conduct daily and weekly store walkthroughs, evaluating product performance, pricing, staff service levels, and inventory management
- Communicate sales drivers and performance issues to Store Manager; develop strategies to maximize business and create weekly visual presentation action plans
- Analyse store-level reports and create targeted action plans to improve performance metrics
- Participate in recruitment, interviewing, and hiring processes; identify candidates with diverse backgrounds and perspectives
- Support Store Manager in building bench strength for key positions and developing potential successors
- Ensure staff accountability in building repeat customer bases through unparalleled service delivery
- Participate in weekly management and staff meetings, communicating store and individual sales goals and performance expectations
- Deliver exceptional customer journeys and achieve exemplary mystery shop results
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years progressive retail experience
- Minimum 2 years store management experience in the service or retail industry
- Effective communication skills with ability to build relationships
- Strong people management skills with conflict resolution capabilities
- Confidence in providing constructive feedback that promotes behavioral change
- Ability to work well with change and adapt quickly while maintaining pace
