SEPHORA Cash Manager role in Manchester, leading store cash operations, team development, compliance and customer service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and inspire Beauty Advisors to deliver exceptional service, uphold operational standards and work collaboratively.
  • Provide ongoing training to strengthen cash-handling capability, operational accuracy, service confidence and product knowledge.
  • Conduct performance check-ins, set clear goals and create personalised development plans.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including attendance, performance concerns and follow-up actions.
  • Oversee tills, reconciliations, safe management, deposits and daily audits, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance.
  • Analyse cash-related KPIs, identify opportunities for improvement and drive action plans to elevate operational performance.
  • Implement loss-prevention processes and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and introduce process improvements to increase productivity and reduce risk.
  • Troubleshoot IT and payment-related issues to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, organisation and visual presentation standards.
  • Monitor stock levels, especially Minis & More, and ensure prompt replenishment.
  • Assist with new-store opening activities, including unboxing, organising and preparing stock, where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail leadership experience, with expertise in cash handling, operational accuracy and financial processes.
  • Outstanding customer service and the ability to build rapport with customers and team members.
  • Strong coaching and team-development capability, supporting individual and collective performance.
  • Genuine passion for SEPHORA, team culture and creating a motivating, inclusive work environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to drive performance improvements across cash and store operations.
