The Watchmaker diagnoses and repairs watches, performs part and complete services, prepares cases, and conducts quality checks before transfer to the Final Quality department. The role also includes reporting technical issues, providing applicable quality feedback to brand headquarters, and maintaining tools, equipment and a clean workspace.
Role & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair watches.
- Perform part services and complete services on watches ready for repair.
- Prepare watch cases.
- Conduct quality control before transferring watches to the Final Quality department.
- Report all technical problems to the technical supervisor.
- Provide quality feedback to brand headquarters where applicable.
- Maintain personalized hand tools and testing equipment in impeccable working condition.
- Keep the personal working environment impeccably clean.
Qualifications
- A diploma in watch repair or an equivalent training course is an advantage.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in overhauling movements.
