Richemont is hiring a Watchmaker in London, UK for a 12-month fixed-term contract. Diagnose and repair luxury watches with at least 1 year of movement overhauling experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair watches through part services and complete services
- Perform case preparation on timepieces ready for repair
- Conduct quality control inspections before transfer to the Final Quality department
- Report all technical issues and complications to the technical supervisor
- Provide quality feedback and technical insights to brand headquarters as applicable
- Maintain personalized hand-tools and precision testing equipment in pristine working condition
- Ensure meticulous cleanliness and organization of the personal working environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in movement overhauling
- Diploma in watch-repairing or equivalent specialized training course (advantageous)
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of professional experience in overhauling watch movements, with demonstrated competency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical timepieces.
Education
Diploma in watch-repairing or equivalent specialized training course is advantageous. General technical education or apprenticeship in horology is preferred.
