Junior HR Business Partner at Alfred Dunhill, London. Support strategic HR initiatives across retail, hospitality, and manufacturing operations within a leading luxury group.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support implementation of people initiatives and transformation projects aligned with Dunhill's commercial objectives
- Serve as dedicated HR partner for UK employee populations in retail, hospitality, and manufacturing operations
- Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and talent management activities
- Collaborate with HR colleagues and business stakeholders to deliver consistent employee experience
- Support centres of excellence and Richemont group colleagues in developing tailored HR solutions
- Administer annual performance and development review cycles, collaborating with Global L&D and Talent Managers
- Deliver training for managers and employees on HR processes and Maison values
- Assist in administering compensation, reward, and monthly payroll processes
- Collect and analyse HR data to inform business recommendations and strategic decision-making
- Lead or support HR projects from inception to completion
- Coach managers in people management capability and promote high-performance culture
- Manage employee relations cases and escalate complex or high-risk matters appropriately
- Handle maternity leave, sickness absence assessments, and return-to-work administration
- Serve as point of contact for Group HR projects requiring Maison involvement and HRIS data management
Qualifications
- Proven experience and progression in relevant HR discipline
- Previous hands-on exposure to Employee Relations principles and practices
- Strong relationship-building skills with ability to influence diverse stakeholders
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to identify trends and support HR decision-making
- Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proactive problem-solving approach
- CIPD qualification or active pursuit of qualification (desirable)
- Familiarity with HR systems and data analysis tools such as Workday or SAP (highly desirable)
Skills
Experience
Proven experience and progression in a relevant HR discipline with hands-on exposure to Employee Relations principles and practices. Previous experience in a customer-facing role within retail or hospitality environments is highly desirable, as is familiarity with HR systems such as Workday or SAP.
Education
CIPD qualification or active pursuit of qualification is desirable. Secondary education and relevant HR training or certifications required.
