Boutique Director role at Richemont luxury maison in London's Mayfair; lead high-performing retail team and drive commercial excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee boutique sales, profitability, budget discipline, and commercial planning to achieve defined performance targets
- Lead, motivate, recruit, and develop the boutique team while setting clear expectations, responsibilities, and standards of execution
- Drive operational excellence across store presentation, stock control, compliance, financial processes, and reporting
- Build and deepen lasting client relationships through clienteling, event strategy, CRM follow-up, and personalized service
- Represent the maison inside and outside the boutique, strengthening brand awareness, partnerships, and local reputation
- Create a culture of accountability, inclusion, coaching, and continuous improvement that supports long-term team and business success
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in a luxury environment
- Demonstrated result and action-oriented mindset with strong entrepreneurial leadership
- Natural leader with excellent interpersonal competencies and empathy
- Impeccable personal presentation and professional demeanor with high integrity, discretion, and ethical conduct
- Strong clienteling expertise and deep understanding of high-net-worth client expectations and relationship management
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with proficiency in English
- Proven passion for luxury, craftsmanship, and client service
- Deep understanding and exposure to Mayfair environment and local luxury client communities
Skills
Experience
At least 5 years of proven management experience in a luxury retail or hospitality environment, with demonstrated success in driving commercial performance, building and motivating teams, and managing high-end client relationships. Experience in jewelry, watches, or high-end accessories retail is advantageous.
Education
Secondary education minimum; tertiary qualification in business management, hospitality, or related discipline is advantageous.
