Puig seeks HR Advisor for 12-month contract at London Brands HQ. Generalist HR role supporting employee relations, payroll coordination, and people initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide strategic HR advice across all employee relations matters, including maternity, paternity, flexible working arrangements, performance management, dispute resolution, and mediation
- Collaborate with payroll teams to ensure accurate reflection of employee changes—reporting line updates, promotions, and resignations—in monthly payroll processing
- Monitor probationary periods and partner with managers to manage underperformance effectively during the probation phase
- Draft employment contracts, change letters, resignation acknowledgements, references, and ad hoc employee correspondence
- Maintain compliant employee e-files with accurate, current documentation in accordance with GDPR requirements
- Lead exit survey and interview processes, identifying trends to inform employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Support visa sponsorship application procedures and manage associated compliance requirements
- Champion organizational values, culture, and community initiatives through exemplary conduct
- Deliver ad hoc HR projects and strategic initiatives in support of the Brands HR team
- Establish and nurture strong working relationships with cross-functional Brands teams
Qualifications
- CIPD qualification or equivalent (or currently pursuing)
- Proven experience in a comparable HR generalist role
- Thorough knowledge of HR processes, systems, and best practice
- Demonstrated understanding of employment law compliance and GDPR requirements
- Advanced proficiency in discretion, confidentiality, and data protection protocols
Skills
Experience
Relevant experience in a generalist HR advisory role, ideally within a multi-brand or premium sector environment. Demonstrated proficiency in managing the full spectrum of HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding within a complex organizational structure.
Education
CIPD qualification (Diploma or equivalent) or currently working toward accreditation; or demonstrable equivalent professional HR qualification and experience.
