Piaget London: Deputy Boutique Manager to lead sales floor operations, manage team performance and drive commercial excellence in luxury retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Boutique Manager in monitoring sales targets, KPIs and implementing annual action plans to drive commercial performance
- Lead the sales floor by example, maintaining active client engagement while coaching team members to achieve individual and boutique-wide objectives
- Assume full day-to-day leadership of the boutique during the Boutique Manager's absence, ensuring continuity across all operational, commercial and service standards
- Manage team operations including floor organisation, client allocation, appointment preparation and resource planning according to business priorities
- Support and deliver daily boutique briefings aligned with Piaget guidelines, taking full ownership during the manager's absence
- Monitor daily, weekly and monthly boutique performance metrics, identify commercial opportunities and implement corrective actions
- Maintain active CRM management and data quality, using insights to drive client development and inform commercial strategy
- Handle customer service matters and client concerns with professionalism, escalating sensitive issues to the Boutique Manager as appropriate
- Support the Boutique Manager in performance management processes, including objective setting, KPI assessment and development planning
- Lead and coordinate daily and annual stock inventories, maintaining oversight of stock accuracy, condition and security
- Ensure merchandise presentation consistently reflects Piaget visual merchandising standards and boutique presentation excellence
- Maintain oversight of after-sales procedures, including faulty goods, returns and repair coordination
- Support planning and execution of boutique, harrods and maison client events and activations
- Ensure compliance with all Piaget, Richemont and relevant security, financial and operational procedures and policies
Qualifications
- Minimum two to five years' proven management experience in luxury retail or high-level service environments, preferably in jewellery or watches
- Demonstrated excellence in personal sales performance combined with strong people-management and team coaching capability
- Proven experience managing and developing teams, with ability to performance-manage effectively
- Strong CRM and clienteling expertise with proven capability in client development and relationship retention
- Experience confidently managing VIC clients and complex or high-value luxury transactions
- High operational discipline with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; SAP experience advantageous
- Exceptional personal presentation and sophisticated understanding of the luxury retail environment
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills

Experience
Minimum two to five years of proven management experience within luxury retail or high-level service environments, ideally within jewellery or watches retail. Demonstrated track record of strong personal sales performance alongside successful team leadership and capability in developing and performance-managing colleagues. Proven experience managing client relationships, particularly VIC and high-value clients, with strong clienteling and CRM expertise.
Education
