Role & Responsibilities
- Analyse customer behaviour, engagement, and purchase patterns to identify actionable insights that drive marketing decisions
- Extract, validate and QA customer data using SQL queries on Snowflake and Amperity CDP systems
- Build, manage and execute customer segments within the CDP for deployment across email, paid media, and clienteling channels
- Translate marketing briefs and business objectives into clear, data-driven audience definitions and segment logic
- Define and maintain segment naming conventions, taxonomy, and governance frameworks
- Evaluate campaign performance and provide evidence-based recommendations to improve targeting and ROI
- Support A/B testing design, measurement and statistical validation
- Collaborate with Brand, Digital, Retention, Stores and other marketing teams to understand objectives and deliver solutions
- Communicate complex data insights in clear, actionable language to non-technical stakeholders
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies across CDP, source systems and reporting outputs
- Partner with legal and IT security on CDP connector setup and third-party integrations
- Drive best practices in data handling, documentation and query structuring
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL; ability to write efficient, maintainable queries for large dataset manipulation and validation
- Demonstrated experience working with customer data and CDP platforms (Amperity experience preferred)
- Proven ability to create and manage customer segments and audiences for marketing campaigns
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Understanding of GDPR compliance requirements and data governance principles
- Excellent attention to detail with strong commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to translate data concepts between business-focused and technology-based colleagues
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration experience
- Proven analytical skills with demonstrated ability to extract insights from complex datasets
