Stockist position at Max Mara Selfridges London. Full-time retail stock management role with inventory control and stockroom operations responsibilities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage all incoming and outgoing deliveries in accordance with brand procedures and store guidelines
- Ensure stock level accuracy through regular cycle counts and full inventories, investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Organize and maintain the stockroom in an orderly, clean, and efficient manner to guarantee quick product flow to the shop floor
- Support the sales team by ensuring product availability and timely replenishment during trading hours
- Process transfers, returns, and consolidations between the store, warehouse, and other locations
- Handle price changes, security tagging, and ticketing in line with company policies
- Liaise with the Store Manager and Head Office on stock-related matters and system updates
- Maintain and update professional and technical knowledge of stock management systems and procedures
- Act as a key support to the team, contributing to the smooth running of the store
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–3 years of stock or back-of-house experience in retail; luxury experience preferred
- Proficiency with stock management systems and basic IT tools
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented approach
- Ability to work reliably and proactively under pressure during peak trading periods
- Commitment to maintaining high standards and achieving personal and team goals
