Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop sales associates to exceed all sales targets, customer service standards, and operational objectives
- Create and execute strategic business plans including customer acquisition and retention initiatives, in-store events, and promotional campaigns
- Manage store operations including inventory control, facilities management, cash reconciliation, and point-of-sale systems administration
- Conduct sales analysis, set performance targets, and manage staff scheduling to optimize resource allocation
- Deliver exceptional, personalized customer service and cultivate strong customer relationships through consumer insights and targeted engagement
- Drive recruitment and retention of high-performing team members and provide mentorship to support career development
- Monitor business metrics and adapt strategies to maintain competitive performance in a fast-paced retail environment
Qualifications
- Proven retail management or assistant retail management experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Previous business planning experience including setting sales and customer service targets, sales analysis, and staff scheduling
- Previous retail operations experience including inventory management, facilities oversight, and cash reconciliation
- Proven track record of leading teams to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Experience creating and executing in-store events and promotional activities
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Legal authorization to live and work in the United Kingdom
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of progressive retail management or assistant manager experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, ideally within cosmetics, beauty, or prestige retail. Demonstrated success in leading teams, executing business plans, and delivering measurable sales results.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; further retail management training, beauty industry certification, or business qualifications are advantageous.
