Role & Responsibilities
- Provide inspirational, personalized makeup artistry services and consultations to customers
- Execute in-store makeup demonstrations and beauty events to drive customer engagement and sales
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and product displays to align with brand positioning
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems and process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Educate customers on product benefits, application techniques, and MAC brand values
- Work collaboratively within a high-performing retail team to achieve store targets and KPIs
- Demonstrate authentic, welcoming, and customer-centric service during all retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events
Qualifications
- Qualification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience (preferred)
- Amateur-level makeup experience with demonstrated creative and technical expertise (acceptable)
- Proven ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Capability to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Right to live and work in the United Kingdom
Skills
Experience
Certification in makeup artistry and/or previous retail makeup experience is desirable; however, applicants with amateur-level experience who can demonstrate strong creative and technical expertise are encouraged to apply.
Education
Formal qualification in makeup artistry is preferred but not mandatory.
