MAC Beauty Advisor, 9 hours/2 days per week at BOOTS Cribbs, Bristol. Part-time prestige beauty retail role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized makeup consultations and tutorials that educate customers and address their individual beauty needs
- Apply makeup artistry expertise to enhance the customer experience and drive product sales
- Execute in-store promotional events and campaigns alongside the retail team
- Maintain visual merchandising standards throughout the counter to ensure alignment with brand guidelines
- Operate point-of-sale systems and manage transactions with accuracy and efficiency
- Work collaboratively within a high-performing team to achieve store sales targets and customer satisfaction objectives
- Provide authentic, inspirational customer service in a welcoming and inclusive manner
Qualifications
- Demonstrable creative and technical makeup expertise at a professional or advanced amateur level
- Ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service consistently
- Availability to work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Experience with retail point-of-sale (POS) software systems
- Proof of legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom
- Makeup artistry certification or previous retail beauty counter experience (preferred but not required)

Experience
While certification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup counter experience is preferred, the role welcomes applicants with amateur-level makeup expertise who can demonstrate strong technical and creative capabilities. Retail experience and familiarity with fast-paced, customer-facing environments is advantageous.
Education
Makeup artistry certification or formal training is preferred but not required. Secondary education or equivalent is expected.
