MAC Beauty Advisor, 15 hrs/week in Brighton. Join Estée Lauder's prestige beauty team as a part-time makeup artist and retail consultant.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide inspirational, personalized makeup consultations and tutorials demonstrating technical expertise and creative flair
- Educate customers on product benefits, application techniques, and skincare compatibility to drive informed purchasing decisions
- Execute point-of-sale transactions with accuracy and professionalism using retail POS systems
- Collaborate with team members to execute in-store events, activations, and seasonal campaigns
- Maintain visual merchandising displays and product presentation standards to align with brand positioning
- Build customer relationships and loyalty through authentic, consultative engagement
- Work flexibly across retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
Qualifications
- Certification or professional training in makeup artistry (preferred but not essential)
- Demonstrated high level of creative and technical makeup expertise
- Proven ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom

Experience
While professional makeup artistry certification or retail makeup experience is preferred, applicants with demonstrated amateur-level expertise who can showcase strong creative and technical capabilities are welcome to apply. Retail customer service experience is advantageous but not required.
Education
Makeup artistry certification or equivalent professional training is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
