La Mer seeks a Makeup Artist for a 15-hour-per-week role at Selfridges in Birmingham, working two days a week. The role combines creative and technical expertise with personalized customer service, in-store events and visual merchandising; makeup artistry qualifications or retail makeup experience are preferred, while applicants with amateur-level experience are also welcome.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers.
- Use creative and technical expertise to deliver customer experiences.
- Contribute to a high-performing team and create impact through in-store events.
- Ensure the store meets visual merchandising standards and stands out from competitors.
Qualifications
- A makeup artistry qualification or previous retail makeup experience is preferred; applicants with amateur-level experience are welcome if they can demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
- Availability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events, in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Ability to provide proof of the right to live and work in the UK if invited to interview.
