Kiehl’s seeks a Skincare Advisor for its London counter, where the role delivers personalised skincare consultations, supports sales performance and shares product expertise with counter colleagues. The position is permanent and full-time, with a 40-hour work week.
Role & Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Counter Manager as the skincare authority at the counter.
- Conduct skin barrier evaluations and personalised consultations, recommending tailored routines featuring formulas such as Ultra Facial and Midnight Recovery.
- Achieve personal sales targets and contribute to counter commercial goals through consultation-led selling, sampling and repeat client bookings.
- Share skincare science and formulation knowledge with team members to strengthen consultation confidence and service standards.
- Plan and deliver counter animations, seasonal events and sustainability initiatives, including Kiehl's recycling and refill programmes.
- Maintain apothecary-inspired visual merchandising, tester hygiene and stock replenishment.
- Track daily schedules using Tamigo and One Retail.
Qualifications
- Genuine interest in skin wellness, an authentic consultative approach and motivation to cultivate an inviting counter community.
- Practical understanding of skin barrier health, cosmetic ingredients and tailored skincare regimen construction.
- Ability to build authentic rapport, listen attentively and guide clients through welcoming, personalised skincare experiences.
- Focus on meeting retail sales KPIs, driving multi-product conversion and building long-term customer loyalty.
- Ability to support peers, share product expertise and foster a collaborative counter environment.
- Reliability in maintaining floor hygiene standards, managing testers and rotas, and using digital retail tools.
