A leadership opportunity to supervise a team of Retail Artists across all Kendo Beauty brands at Sephora Meadowhall. The Supervisor will drive daily, weekly, monthly and annual sales targets, manage staffing rotas and payroll investment within budget, oversee testers and samples inventory, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role reports to the Sales & Education Executive and requires both accomplished makeup artistry background and proven retail management experience in luxury environments.
Role & Responsibilities
- Guide, inspire and motivate a team of full and part-time Retail Artists through staffing rotation schedules, coaching of sales and artistry skills, and individual sales goal setting
- Set the example in exceptional product knowledge and service; lead the team to create a flawless customer experience and build a loyal clientele base to drive sales
- Oversee sales goals and payroll investment to achieve financial targets
- Take a strategic approach to building and developing the brand business within the store
- Build strong, effective relationships with Sephora management and Kendo to drive strong business results and implement best practices
- Develop a plan to continually develop and refine the sales, artistry and customer service skills of the team
- Manage testers and samples inventory in store
- Model respect, initiative, enthusiasm, and flexibility at all times; represent the brand in a professional and ethical manner following all Kendo, brand and Sephora guidelines
- Build effective, positive and collaborative relationships with team and store partners
- Maintain excellent personal grooming standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a luxury retail store environment
- Accomplished, high-level makeup artistry background
- At least 2 years of retail experience at a supervisory level
- Proven ability to be strategic with strong business acumen
- Demonstrated experience of building and executing clientele strategy
- Ability to lead, develop and motivate staff including conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Experience in forward planning and achievement of financial goals
- Strong customer service, clientele and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong commercial awareness

Experience
Minimum 3 years of retail experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role within a luxury retail environment. Accomplished makeup artistry background required. Proven track record of building and executing clientele strategy and achieving financial targets.
