Kendo is hiring a Retail Makeup Artist for Fenty Beauty by Rihanna at Boots in Stratford, London. This on-site maternity-cover role is part-time at 22.5 hours across 3 days, contributing to sales targets through makeup artistry, product expertise and excellent customer service.

Role & Responsibilities

• Contribute to personal and counter sales targets through makeup artistry, customer service, selling skills and product knowledge that engage, inspire and empower customers.
• Represent the brand professionally and ethically, following Kendo, brand and Boots guidelines; model respect, initiative, enthusiasm and flexibility.
• Build positive, collaborative relationships with the team and store partners.
• Develop a loyal clientele and drive sales through makeup artistry, selling and service skills, delivering a flawless customer experience.
• Advise customers on suitable products and their features using in-depth makeup knowledge.
• Attend initial brand training and further training to stay current on trends, products and offerings.
• Help maintain consistent housekeeping, presentation and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain excellent personal grooming standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a department-store environment with a prestige or artistry brand.
• At least 1 year of retail experience and a proven track record in a beauty-selling environment.
• Accomplished, high-level makeup artistry background.
• Experience building a clientele portfolio.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to listen effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Empathetic and inclusive; confident and professional.
• Informed interest in and genuine passion for beauty.
• Adaptable and flexible, with a drive for results.
• Professional and courteous conduct to maintain a positive brand image.
• Ability to speak knowledgeably about Rihanna.
