Kendo Brands Supervisor at Sephora Meadowhall, Sheffield. Lead a team of makeup artists and drive sales for Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin and Ole Henriksen.
Role & Responsibilities
- Guide, inspire and motivate a team of full-time and part-time makeup artists, including staffing rotation schedules and individual sales goal setting
- Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and customer service excellence; lead the team to create flawless customer experiences and build a loyal clientele base
- Oversee sales goals and payroll investment to achieve financial targets
- Develop a strategic approach to building and growing the Kendo brand business within the store
- Build strong, effective relationships with Sephora management and Kendo leadership to implement best practices
- Develop and execute ongoing coaching plans to refine team sales, artistry, and customer service skills
- Manage tester and sample inventory within budget
- Model respect, initiative, enthusiasm, and flexibility; represent the brand professionally and ethically at all times
- Build effective, positive and collaborative relationships with team and store partners
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of retail supervisory or team lead experience at a comparable level
- Accomplished makeup artistry background with high-level technical proficiency
- Proven ability to build and execute clientele strategy
- Demonstrated experience managing financial goals and payroll budgets
- Strong team leadership, staff development, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Experience in forward planning and achievement of commercial targets
- Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills

Experience
Minimum 3 years of retail experience, including at least 2 years at supervisory level in a luxury retail or beauty environment. Demonstrated background in high-level makeup artistry and team management within a prestige beauty counter or boutique setting.
Education
No specific formal education requirement is stated; however, beauty qualifications (e.g. makeup artistry certification, cosmetology training) or retail management training would be advantageous.
