Kate Spade New York seeks a Sales Associate to serve as a knowledgeable stylist and trusted advisor at the Cheshire Oaks outlet store. The successful candidate will greet guests warmly, provide expert styling guidance across the full product portfolio, and create complete looks that reflect customers' personal aesthetics. This role requires strong retail fundamentals, exceptional interpersonal skills, and proficiency in omnichannel selling techniques.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and lifestyle preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary items, and create complete coordinated looks
- Showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles and expressions
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless, consultative checkout experience
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, building loyalty and encouraging repeat visits
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate POS transactions
- Give and receive feedback in an honest, constructive manner to support continuous improvement
- Demonstrate flexibility to work nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail occasions including public holidays
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
