Role & Responsibilities

  • Model Kate Spade service behaviors and selling standards; establish and lead a high-energy, client-focused retail environment
  • Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives; ensure effective clienteling through client books, targeted outreach, and loyalty program engagement
  • Empower team members to personalize customer experiences and resolve issues effectively; lead customer data capture to support marketing and repeat business
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop diverse retail talent; provide coaching, manage underperformance, and act as Store Leader during absences
  • Set clear performance goals, monitor KPIs (traffic, conversion, units per transaction, average unit retail), and coach teams to achieve targets
  • Own store sales plans and forecasts; create and execute action plans to capitalize on business opportunities and market trends
  • Champion Kate Spade's aesthetic and brand philosophy; maintain visual standards, execute visual directives, and ensure store environment excellence
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, facility security, and compliance with loss prevention standards
  • Manage team schedules and payroll budgets; adjust staffing levels to align with business needs and seasonal demands
  • Support inventory management, cycle counts, and shipment accuracy; manage live stream shopping sessions and leverage social media to drive engagement
  • Communicate sell-through data, stock trends, and customer feedback to corporate partners to inform strategic improvements

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle, or comparable retail environment
  • Proven leadership with strong communication and organizational capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; demonstrated experience with retail management systems
  • Ability to analyze selling reports, identify trends, and respond quickly to market dynamics
