Harrods seeks an experienced Watchmaker (Rolex Level 30+) in Hammersmith, London to service luxury timepieces with precision and expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform full services, dial and hand fitting, and partial repairs on all pre-qualified Rolex calibres and trained movement types
- Support Service Technicians on difficult service requirements and contribute to their training on movement parts repair
- Read and interpret job cards to ensure customer requirements are met and spare parts are correctly allocated
- Order additional spare parts according to current policies and procedures
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance on all machinery, tooling, and workshop equipment
- Communicate repair status to administrative staff as required
- Complete all paperwork and testing documentation before passing work to Quality Control
- Contribute to the unit's productivity and efficiency targets
Qualifications
- Rolex Level 30 Accreditation (minimum)
- Proven experience working on quality watches and trained on movements with complication modules
- Knowledge of Rolex products and watchmaking procedures
- Ability to complete work to the highest standard
- Collaborative and self-motivated approach
Skills
Experience
Extensive experience working within a similar watchmaking or luxury service industry, with demonstrated expertise in repairing and servicing quality timepieces to exacting standards.
Education
Formal watchmaking education or equivalent professional training in horology is required.
