Retail Manager – Childrenswear at Harrods, Knightsbridge. Lead luxury retail teams and deliver exceptional customer experiences in this permanent full-time leadership role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Childrenswear department with full accountability for sales performance, team engagement, and customer experience
- Maintain constant presence on the shop floor, coaching teams and reinforcing Harrods service standards and behaviours
- Use data and commercial insight to identify opportunities, anticipate customer needs, and drive informed business decisions
- Develop and retain team members through regular coaching, feedback, and clear performance expectations
- Build and strengthen relationships with high-net-worth customers, fostering loyalty and repeat business
- Ensure operational excellence across stock management, service delivery, and adherence to Brilliant Basics standards
- Collaborate with General Retail Management to shape departmental vision and deliver strategic objectives
- Create a culture of psychological safety, accountability and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading retail teams in a luxury or high-end environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage commercial performance and interpret business data
- Strong understanding of high-net-worth customer expectations and relationship-building
- Evidence of creating high-performing, engaged teams through authentic leadership
- Ability to balance empathy and accountability whilst maintaining clear standards
Skills
Experience
Significant experience in retail leadership, ideally within luxury fashion or premium retail environments. Demonstrated track record of driving sales performance, managing teams, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Education
