Harrods is hiring Retail Assistants for full-time and part-time opportunities on a four-week fixed-term contract from the end of November until the end of December at H beauty Edinburgh. The role supports customers, tills, stock replenishment, festive gifting and store presentation throughout the Christmas trading period, including weekends and peak trading days.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment for customers.
- Assist customers with enquiries and product recommendations across beauty and gifting.
- Operate tills and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Replenish stock and maintain product availability across the store.
- Support visual merchandising standards and maintain a beautifully presented shopping environment.
- Assist with festive gifting services and seasonal activities.
- Promote the My Beauty rewards programme and customer feedback initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues across different areas of the business to support peak trading.
- Provide flexible support across store areas, including the shop floor, tills, stock replenishment, festive gifting and store presentation.

- Experience in a customer-facing environment such as retail, hospitality, leisure or beauty.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with customers.
