Fashion Fitter at Harrods, London. Full-time permanent role supporting tailoring and fittings across menswear and womenswear in our iconic Knightsbridge store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide professional fittings for customers across menswear and womenswear using a broad range of fabrics
- Support the Tailoring team with basic alterations and assist in resizing and restructuring garments
- Ensure all alterations are accurately charged at point of sale with clear timelines communicated to customers
- Complete all supporting documentation and system entries with precision and clarity
- Conduct quality control inspections on completed garments
- Upskill the sales team in basic fitting techniques and best practices
- Process customer payments confidently in a retail environment
- Work collaboratively across the fashion department to drive sales through fitting expertise
Qualifications
- Proven experience completing fittings and basic alterations
- Demonstrated expertise working with both menswear and womenswear garments
- Strong customer service background with proven ability to build lasting relationships
- Experience with quality control procedures and standards
- Competence with point-of-sale and retail management systems
- Capability to deliver training and guidance to wider teams
Skills
Experience
Experience completing fittings and basic alterations across diverse garment types and fabrics.
