Employee Relations Advisor FTC at Harrods, London—manage HR cases, coach managers, ensure compliance in a luxury retail setting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide expert HR support across multiple channels (phone, email, web-based enquiries), managing employee relations and people management cases from inception to resolution
- Coach and influence line managers on best practice people management, ensuring consistent application of policies and driving positive change
- Manage high volumes of behaviour, absence, performance, maternity/paternity, and flexible working cases with accuracy and attention to detail
- Use management information and data insights to identify trends, address recurring challenges, and implement sustainable solutions
- Deliver training and guidance to empower leaders in confidently managing people matters with reduced reliance on HR support
- Act as subject matter expert in employment law and company policies, ensuring legislative compliance and consistency in application
- Maintain accurate HR records and support continuous improvement of HR processes
- Build strong relationships with employees and managers, fostering a culture of learning and accountability
- Support the development and mentoring of junior team members
