Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee the smooth running of an assigned kitchen section and provide direction to junior kitchen staff
- Assist the Sous Chef and senior management in daily operational requirements and service execution
- Supervise and mentor junior cooks within the section, ensuring consistency and quality
- Plan and forecast stock requirements in collaboration with management
- Organise, rotate, and label food stock according to FIFO protocols and storage standards
- Enforce and maintain rigorous food safety and hygiene standards across all food-related outlets
- Manage paperwork, inventory documentation, and departmental records with precision
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail in both food preparation and administrative duties
- Support internal and external stakeholder relationships with strong customer focus
- Work proficiently across multiple kitchen stations as required
