Harrods seeks Category Manager to lead digital trading strategy, drive KPIs, and develop high-performing online trade teams in London.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute digital trading strategy for assigned category, combining customer insights, market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and regional opportunities to achieve sustainable growth
- Manage KPI delivery across sales, margin, and EBITDA targets; challenge key performance metrics and ensure financial targets are robust, achievable, and aligned to customer demand
- Lead strategic engagement with brand partners, translating commercial objectives into actionable growth plans that maximize sales, customer relevance, and brand performance across the digital platform
- Oversee category operations across multiple fulfillment models, including stock availability, assortment optimization, and merchandising performance
- Partner with Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, CRM, Product, UX, Technology, and senior E-commerce stakeholders to enhance customer journey and drive cross-functional initiatives
- Lead the Trade team to optimize conversion through predictive and real-time analytics; coach and develop team members while championing process efficiencies
- Develop and deliver impactful campaigns that drive engagement, conversion, and revenue in collaboration with Marketing and digital teams
- Influence and align stakeholders across all organizational levels to drive shared objectives and deliver commercial outcomes
Qualifications
- Proven track record of 5+ years as a Category Manager with substantial experience in digital trade or ecommerce
- Demonstrated success driving category performance and delivering sustainable business growth
- Strong brand management expertise and advanced analytical capabilities
- Exceptional people leadership skills with proven ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent communicator and influential partner across all organizational levels
- Advanced data analysis and commercial acumen

Extensive experience as a Category Manager within digital trade or ecommerce environments, with demonstrated success in driving category performance, building high-performing teams, and delivering sustainable business growth within luxury or premium retail sectors.
Education
Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience in business, marketing, commerce, or retail management.
