Harrods seeks an Aftercare Consultant for its Fine Watches division to guide clients through supplier-based repairs, provide knowledgeable service and support sales and repeat business. The role is permanent, fully on site and works five days out of seven.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service, demonstrate exceptional product knowledge, and build strong client relationships to support sales and repeat business across the Fine Watches Room.
- Communicate professionally and knowledgeably with clients in person, by email, and by telephone, providing accurate information about aftercare processes and services.
- Welcome clients to the department warmly and engage them with open-ended questions.
- Enter accurate details for longer-term supplier-based repairs, including the item’s condition, required work, estimated costs, and timeframes, and obtain agreement where possible.
- Advise clients on the best course of action after external examination of an item, using information from the client and technicians where appropriate.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in luxury retail and a genuine passion for horology.
- Good understanding of how watches work and broad knowledge of watch adjustments.
- Ability to carry out POS and systematic procedures confidently and accurately.
- Handle client information sensitively and comply with GDPR.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, managers, assistant managers, and external stakeholders.
- Experience with Microsoft programmes.
