Estée Lauder Companies is hiring a Digital Asset Management Systems Manager in London to lead DAM governance, platform optimisation and content operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define, implement and maintain the organisation-wide DAM governance framework, operating model, standards, policies and best practices, including metadata, taxonomy, asset lifecycle and content governance.
  • Own day-to-day management, optimisation and evolution of the DAM platform; partner with technology teams and external vendors on enhancements, upgrades and integrations, and lead DAM projects and roadmap initiatives aligned with business priorities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in content accessibility, efficiency, asset utilisation, user experience, automation and workflow effectiveness.
  • Serve as the organisation’s primary DAM subject matter expert and build partnerships with marketing, creative, commercial and global stakeholders to drive platform adoption and effective use.
  • Lead change management and champion DAM best practices; deliver training, onboarding and user support to ensure consistent use of platform capabilities.
  • Support the development and optimisation of workflows for asset creation, approval, storage and distribution; ensure assets are accurately tagged, maintained and archived in line with governance standards.
  • Collaborate with Content, Consumer Engagement and Creative Operations teams on efficient content delivery and activation, and align local and global asset management processes.
  • Monitor platform performance, adoption, asset utilisation and user engagement; develop reporting frameworks and dashboards to measure effectiveness and business impact.
  • Gather stakeholder feedback and business requirements to inform platform development, and identify opportunities to leverage AI-enabled tagging, search and content management capabilities.
  • Use platform analytics, user feedback and business insights to improve DAM performance and value continuously.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience managing Digital Asset Management platforms, content operations or marketing technology systems.
  • Strong understanding of metadata, taxonomy, governance and digital content lifecycle management.
  • Experience defining and implementing DAM operating models, standards and best practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across multiple business functions.
  • Experience leading change management, training and user adoption initiatives.
  • Strong analytical mindset and experience interpreting platform performance and usage metrics.
  • Experience working with system integrations and broader marketing technology ecosystems.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into business-focused solutions.
  • Experience in luxury, beauty, fashion, retail or premium consumer brands is beneficial.
