Estée Lauder Beauty Advisor maternity cover position, Gateshead. Part-time temporary role combining makeup artistry and customer consultations in prestige beauty retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, inspirational in-store consultations and product demonstrations to customers
- Apply makeup artistry techniques to educate and delight customers whilst building brand loyalty
- Contribute to the execution and success of in-store events and promotional activities
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and product displays to competitive excellence
- Process customer transactions using retail point-of-sale systems
- Work collaboratively within a high-performing team to achieve store performance objectives
Qualifications
- Qualification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience preferred
- Ability to demonstrate high-level creative and technical expertise in makeup application
- Proven capacity to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
- Right to live and work in the United Kingdom

Experience
Previous retail makeup experience is preferred; however, candidates with amateur-level makeup expertise and strong customer service background are welcomed to apply.
Education
Qualification in makeup artistry is desirable but not required; candidates with demonstrated creative and technical expertise at amateur level are encouraged to apply.
