About Dorchester Collection
Dorchester Collection operates hotels including The Dorchester in London, Hôtel Plaza Athénée and Le Meurice in Paris, and The Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles County. Its properties hire across rooms, restaurants, kitchens, engineering and guest services.
The Restaurant Host welcomes guests at The Dorchester, manages reservations and table allocations, fulfils guest requests, and coordinates with hotel departments to deliver a seamless dining experience. This is a permanent, full-time position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage reservations and table allocations.
- Meet and greet guests, escort them to their allocated tables, and bid them farewell on departure.
- Fulfil guest requests relating to dietary requirements, food and drink preferences, and special occasions.
- Live the hotel’s values of Personality, Passion, Respect, Working Together and Creativity through daily behaviour.
- Communicate with other departments and the wider hotel team to ensure alignment.
Qualifications
- Comfort communicating in English, the primary language used in the hotel.
