Diptyque Sales Assistant, Bluewater, London – 8-hour Sunday position in luxury fragrance retail focused on sales KPIs and customer service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver agreed sales KPIs including sales targets, average transaction value, units per transaction, conversion rates, and CRM objectives
- Approach and assist every customer to maximize sales conversion and customer satisfaction
- Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of Diptyque fragrances, skincare, and home objects, and stay current with trends, promotions, and product launches
- Maintain the counter and back-of-house areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization
- Support implementation and ongoing maintenance of visual merchandising, seasonal campaigns, and gift wrapping displays
- Record and monitor all sales, customer contacts, and client requirements for CRM purposes
- Attend mandatory company training sessions and brand induction activities
- Support in-store and off-site events as the business requires
- Assist the Counter Manager with additional duties and tasks as needed
- Follow host store cash handling guidelines and company dress code and grooming standards at all times
- Maintain positive relationships with colleagues and uphold all company and host store policies
Qualifications
- Passion for fragrance, beauty, and luxury retail
- Proven sales record with demonstrated ability to exceed targets
- Exceptional customer service skills and confidence in public-facing interactions
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written
- Impeccable personal grooming and presentation reflecting brand standards
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with strong initiative
- Assertive, dynamic personality with a positive, can-do attitude
- Flexibility to work Saturday and Sunday shifts as required

Experience
Previous experience in fragrance, beauty, or luxury retail is required. A proven sales track record with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed KPI targets is essential.
