Diptyque seeks a Sales Assistant at Liberty, London. Temporary, full-time seasonal role in luxury fragrance and homeware retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver agreed sales KPIs focusing on sales targets, average transaction value, units per transaction, conversion rates, and CRM metrics
- Approach and assist every customer to achieve sales and service objectives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through impeccable, confident customer service
- Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of Diptyque fragrances, skincare, and decorative objects, staying current with trends, launches, and promotions
- Support visual merchandising initiatives including seasonal campaigns, gift wrapping, window displays, and in-store animations
- Record and monitor all sales, customer contacts, and customer requirements as required
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual standards of the counter and back-of-house areas
- Participate in company training sessions and team events both in-store and off-site
- Adhere to all host store cash handling guidelines and company dress code and grooming standards
- Assist the Counter Manager with additional duties and boutique reporting as required
Qualifications
- Proven fragrance, beauty, or luxury retail sales experience
- Demonstrated sales record with a sales-focused mindset
- Strong people skills and performance management capabilities
- Exceptional customer service skills with confident public interaction
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Professional grooming and appearance reflecting luxury brand standards
- Self-motivated, focused, and able to work with initiative
- Assertive and dynamic personality with a positive, can-do attitude

Experience
Previous experience in fragrance, beauty, or luxury retail with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets is required.
Education
