Diesel Store Manager position in London. Lead retail operations, team, and sales strategy for a premium casual fashion brand.
Role & Responsibilities
- Establish and implement action plans with the Retail Manager to develop sales by product category and clientele segment
- Act as a brand ambassador and strengthen relationships with VIP clientele, monitoring local trading environment impact on sales
- Maintain accurate client and prospect databases and support omni-channel activities such as in-store pick-up
- Execute inventory management procedures, optimize stock levels and mix to reflect sales trends and customer demands
- Comply with stock protection and loss reduction standards while maintaining full corporate procedure compliance
- Achieve financial objectives by proposing action plans and adapting quickly to changing situations
- Recruit passionate team members and coach their development to deliver specialized customer service
- Develop meaningful client relationships through personal connections and CRM initiatives aligned with OTB Selling Ceremony and Visual guidelines
- Analyze CRM data and propose in-store activities to acquire new customers and retain existing ones
- Network with department stores, shopping centers and neighborhood retailers to exchange market information
- Establish and maintain safety management systems for store facility, inventory and equipment
- Plan and implement daily and monthly sales objectives
- Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching and feedback
- Create staff schedules and streamline workflow
- Maintain store cleanliness and facility standards including windows, furniture and lighting
- Analyze and report on sales performance, competitor activity, regional trends and market variables
- Set up and maintain effective visual merchandising displays based on VMD guidelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Previous store management experience
- Experience from a luxury brand
- Strong leadership skills to inspire, motivate and build respectful working relationships
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, coaching and feedback skills
- Passion for the Diesel brand
- Digital awareness and comfort navigating social media and e-commerce platforms
