Role & Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A function restructuring and transformation planning across multiple business units and geographies to streamline processes, overhaul systems/tools, and deliver improved reporting, forecasting, and commercial decision support
• Recommend and implement improvements in FP&A processes including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning across complex, multinational operations
• Identify and execute opportunities to streamline reporting processes, reduce cycle times, and improve data accuracy and accessibility
• Collaborate with central and cross-functional teams to enhance finance systems and tools, ensuring scalability and operational efficiency
• Manage the B&DD FP&A function to oversee the full planning, budgeting and forecasting cycle for all brands and business units
• Act as the senior strategic finance partner to senior business leaders, providing insight into commercial performance, identifying risks and opportunities
• Serve as the key contact between B&DD and the De Beers Group Finance function for consolidation, reporting, and forecasting
• Provide leadership and guidance to finance teams during transformation projects, ensuring stakeholder engagement and successful adoption of changes
• Drive a data-led approach to decision-making, ensuring visibility of financial performance, risks, investment priorities, and growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Proven experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning within complex, fast-moving businesses, ideally in retail or consumer-facing sectors
• Professional finance qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
• Demonstrated success in leading finance transformation projects and system implementations in a multinational, matrixed environment
• Strong track record of streamlining processes, reducing reporting timelines, and enhancing decision-making
• Strong financial modelling and forecasting expertise
• Hands-on experience with finance systems such as SAP or Oracle and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• Strong team leadership skills
• Pragmatic analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and change management capabilities

Experience

Mid-senior level professional with proven experience leading finance transformation initiatives in complex multinational environments. Candidates should demonstrate a strong track record in FP&A function redesign, process optimization, systems implementation, and cross-functional team leadership. Experience in retail or consumer-facing sectors, particularly those involving multiple geographies and business units, is highly valued.

Education

Professional finance qualification required, such as ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant), ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), or CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants).
