The Demand Planner supports De Beers’ wholesale and partnerships channels through consensus forecasting, model-stock planning, order management, stock allocation and performance reporting. The role works cross-functionally to maintain service levels, identify supply risks and support partner product availability. Full-time.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the operational delivery and growth of the Wholesale and Partnerships channels across order management, stock flow and allocation.
  • Process partner orders accurately, monitor stock and demand indicators, and recommend actions to maintain service levels and timely product availability.
  • Support the line manager in building productive relationships with key internal stakeholders, including commercial teams, for aligned and informed S&OP discussions.
  • Develop and maintain reporting on demand, inventory and service-level performance, sharing insight-led recommendations to improve planning effectiveness.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, including potential shortages or overstocks, and escalate insights to support timely decisions.
  • Execute stock allocation so partners receive products in line with agreed timelines, priorities and operational requirements.
  • Build and maintain model-stock proposals for strategic partners and key product categories.
  • Support the Demand and Model Stock Planning Manager with reporting, analysis and insight across sales channels.
  • Provide actionable insights to senior management and management to support informed operational and planning decisions.
  • Take accountability for ensuring partners receive excellent product service; anticipate needs and resolve problems proactively while considering commercial and operational outcomes.
  • Use data and insight to provide clear, structured, actionable recommendations that support decision-making across teams and partner groups.
  • Build relationships across Commercial, Planning, Allocation and Supply teams; share information transparently and collaborate to deliver strong outcomes for partners.
  • Support colleagues, share knowledge and contribute to consistent execution and a high-performing team environment; approach challenges with a solutions-focused mindset.

Qualifications

  • Experience in order management, stock coordination or supply-chain support; experience in wholesale or partnerships environments is required, ideally in luxury retail.
  • Strong analytical skills, confidence working with data and high attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of how product flow, partner needs and service levels affect sales.
  • Organised, able to manage multiple priorities accurately and with a calm, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Clear and effective communicator who builds trusted relationships across teams and with partners.
  • Demonstrates ownership, accountability and resilience, and contributes positively to a high-performing team.
  • Curious, proactive and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Interest in luxury and jewellery, with the ability to apply this understanding to conversations and decisions.
  • Values innovation, efficiency and a client-first approach.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel; proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
