The Senior Sales Associate supports Coach store sales, productivity and service goals, meets personal targets, delivers exceptional customer service and contributes to team performance. The role requires a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, public holidays, peak seasons and high-traffic retail days; the full-time equivalent base salary is £31,200–£33,000 per year.
Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute to store sales, productivity and service goals through Coach selling skills and service standards.
- Meet personal sales and productivity goals while delivering service that meets or exceeds expectations.
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador and consistently exceed customers’ needs.
- Understand how individual productivity affects store performance.
- Model sales behaviours from company training, including omnichannel sales and virtual selling services.
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor and consistently achieve sales goals.
- Serve multiple customers simultaneously, anticipating and meeting their needs.
- Serve customers in accordance with Coach Experience standards.
- Contribute as a team member and encourage colleagues to meet and exceed performance standards.
- Help build a team culture where everyone can be themselves and feel seen and heard.
- Champion company initiatives, support management decisions, and take ownership of outstanding customer service.
- Demonstrate professional ethics.
Qualifications
- Previous management experience in a luxury retail service environment is preferable; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and marketplace competition.
- Experience operating POS systems; basic computer proficiency, including iPad, laptop and Mobile POS; ability to use a walkie-talkie and read price/release sheets.
- Effective oral and written communication with customers and team members.
- Ability to manoeuvre around the sales floor and meet moderate stockroom lifting and store-climbing requirements.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, public holidays, peak busy seasons and high-traffic retail days to meet business needs.
- Willingness to learn live-stream shopping techniques, introduce products, demonstrate features and benefits, and make short videos on camera with the social selling team.
- Knowledge of social media and a keen understanding of trends across social media platforms.
- Ability to engage customers in signing up for brand marketing and clienteling communications to drive repeat purchases and loyalty.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong English language proficiency.
