The Sales Associate represents Coach on the sales floor, delivering personalized styling and service, building client relationships, achieving sales KPIs and supporting omni-channel selling and store operations. The role requires at least one year of sales experience, strong English proficiency and schedule flexibility, including nights, weekends and public holidays. Full-time position with an annual base pay range of £30,160–£32,000.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador and follow the Coach Guide to Style and service standards.
  • Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise and fashion advice.
  • Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations.
  • Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms, including short-form video, to capture client data and encourage repeat purchases.
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans and meet or exceed individual and team KPIs.
  • Source new customers, maintain relationships and follow up to close sales.
  • Maintain energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers and adapt selling techniques to business needs.
  • Complete daily operational tasks, including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment and visual merchandising, while maintaining service standards.
  • Keep the sales floor and stockroom clean, organized and stocked; follow retail policies, POS procedures and asset protection procedures.
  • Process purchases, returns, exchanges and online pickups efficiently.
  • Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves and managing product movement.
  • Assist teammates in functional areas as required.
  • Foster a collaborative, trust-based environment and encourage team performance.
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programmes and inclusion activities.
  • Welcome feedback, adapt behaviour and maintain a calm, professional demeanour.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience is preferred. Knowledge of fashion trends and competitors. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience operating POS systems; basic computer proficiency with iPad, laptop and Mobile POS; walkie-talkie use; ability to read price and release sheets.
  • Strong English proficiency.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred: luxury retail background, social media savvy, experience with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations, clienteling and data acquisition skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak busy season and high-traffic retail days, including public holidays.
