The Sales Associate represents Coach on the sales floor, delivers personalised styling and product advice, builds client relationships and drives sales through omnichannel selling. The role also supports store operations, inventory and team performance; it is temporary and full-time, with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and public holidays. The full-time equivalent base pay range is £30,160–£32,000.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador and adhere to the Coach Guide to Style and service standards.
  • Build lasting client relationships through personalised styling, product expertise and fashion advice.
  • Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations.
  • Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms, including short-form video, to capture client data and encourage repeat purchases.
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team KPIs.
  • Source new customers, maintain relationships and follow up to close sales.
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers and adapt selling techniques to business needs.
  • Complete daily operational tasks, including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment and visual merchandising, while maintaining service standards.
  • Keep the sales floor and stockroom clean, organised and stocked; follow retail policies, POS procedures and asset protection procedures.
  • Process purchases, returns, exchanges and online pickups efficiently.
  • Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves and managing product movement.
  • Assist teammates in functional areas as required.
  • Foster a collaborative, trust-based environment and encourage team performance.
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programmes and inclusion activities.
  • Welcome feedback, adapt behaviours and maintain a calm, professional demeanour.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of fashion trends and competitors.
  • A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience operating POS systems; basic computer proficiency, including iPad, laptop and Mobile POS; walkie-talkie use; and the ability to read price/release sheets.
  • Strong English proficiency.
  • Luxury retail background, social media savvy, experience with live-stream shopping or video demos, and clienteling and data acquisition skills are preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak busy season, high-traffic retail days and public holidays.
