Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized makeup consultations, demonstrations, and applications to customers in a welcoming and inspirational manner
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through authentic, personalized service and product education
- Achieve sales targets through skilled product recommendations and consultative selling
- Support in-store events and promotional activities to create customer engagement and brand impact
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the retail space reflects Clinique's prestige positioning
- Operate retail point-of-sale software and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Work collaboratively as part of a high-performing store team to meet operational and aesthetic standards
Qualifications
- Qualification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience preferred; amateur-level experience with demonstrated creative and technical expertise also considered
- Proven ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Flexibility to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Right to live and work in the United Kingdom (proof required at interview stage)
Skills
Experience
While previous retail makeup experience or professional makeup artistry certification is preferred, applicants with amateur-level makeup experience and demonstrated creative and technical expertise are welcome to apply. Retail customer service experience is advantageous.
Education
No formal educational qualification required. Makeup artistry certification or equivalent professional qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
