Clinique Makeup Artist Consultant, Boots Chelmsford. Part-time beauty consultant role (7.5 hours) with Estée Lauder's prestige Clinique brand.
Role & Responsibilities
- Apply professional makeup techniques and provide personalized beauty consultations to customers on the Clinique counter
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, and application methods to drive product sales and loyalty
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and counter displays to align with brand guidelines and stand out competitively
- Support in-store promotional events, product launches, and seasonal campaigns to maximize customer engagement
- Process customer transactions using point-of-sale systems and manage till reconciliation
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships through authentic, inspirational service delivery
Qualifications
- Qualification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to demonstrate high-level creative and technical makeup expertise
- Proven ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Flexibility to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Prior experience with retail point-of-sale software
- Right to live and work in the United Kingdom

Amateur to professional makeup experience accepted; retail makeup counter experience is preferred but training is provided for candidates with strong creative and technical foundations.
Education
Makeup artistry certification desirable but not required; secondary education or equivalent.
