Clarins is seeking an Assistant Manager for a 40-hour-per-week maternity cover role at McArthurGlen Swindon. The role supports the Business Manager in delivering retail targets, developing the account and team, and maintaining excellent customer service, stock and sales standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Business Manager in achieving all business objectives and counter-retail targets.
- Plan team resources to deliver high levels of customer service and meet business needs.
- Maximise opportunities through brand events, new launches and promotions.
- Maintain accurate stock and sales levels, and monitor competitive, department and store performance in relation to Clarins.
- Build professional working relationships with team members to support their individual development.
- Take ownership of the Clarins business to grow and develop the account and team, supporting the Business Manager.
- Lead by example by providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Passion for skincare and beauty.
- Confident, articulate communication.
- Customer-focused and results-oriented approach.
- Enthusiasm for taking on new challenges.
- Two years' experience in a management role, ideally in beauty or retail.
- Significant experience in a beauty retail or spa environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
