Christie's Learning and Development Manager role in London, supporting global talent development strategy, employee learning programmes and training delivery.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the global Learning and Development strategy.
  • Develop and implement approaches to enhance employee skills across the organisation.
  • Work with the global Learning and Development team to design and deliver performance development and business skills programmes, and revise the existing portfolio as appropriate.
  • Undertake needs analyses, produce project plans, conduct related research, and deliver improvement projects for teams and departments as required.
  • Work with the Global Head of Talent Development to ensure global programme consistency while recognising regional differences.
  • Participate in the activities of the Learning and Development and wider HR teams, and collaborate closely with other business teams.
  • Develop Learning and Development programmes to build employee competencies across the business.
  • Support delivery of global programmes online and in person.
  • Promote training programmes to relevant audiences, including the quarterly calendar and monthly specialist updates.
  • Create team-building programmes as assigned by the HR Director.
  • Coordinate information and scheduling for off-site training.
  • Oversee first-day orientation for new employees, including an introduction to the organisation's history and current information, and an office tour; deliver the training in the Training Coordinator's absence.
  • Oversee the induction training curriculum, including invitations and monitoring and tracking attendance at mandatory classes for new hires.
  • Manage the Learning and Development training portfolio for all programmes, projects and initiatives for the New York office.
  • Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by the manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication or a related field.
  • Experienced trainer and coach.
  • Broad knowledge of multiple aspects of training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable with public speaking.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Effective presentation, persuasion and influencing skills.
  • Experience working in professional services preferred.
  • Management experience.
  • Pride in work, willingness to take responsibility, and commitment to working as part of a team.
