Canada Goose is hiring a part-time Seasonal Retail Associate at Bullring in Birmingham to deliver engaging customer journeys, provide expert product recommendations, support sales targets, and maintain store operations. The role requires open availability Friday through Sunday and on holidays, with flexibility for evening retail hours.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed personal sales and key performance targets that contribute to store results.
- Attend and participate in all store meetings, events, and product knowledge sessions.
- Support a positive and productive store environment through effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration.
- Help drive key performance indicators and selling metrics, including conversion, average dollar per transaction, average unit retail, and units per transaction, by introducing customers to new, underperforming, and strategic product categories.
- Maintain store standards and cleanliness, organize the stockroom, process inbound and outbound shipments efficiently, and replenish the sales floor to support a seamless customer experience.
- Recommend products to customers using expert product knowledge and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Use point-of-sale (POS) systems and operational tools accurately and efficiently in line with Canada Goose standards, and follow standard operating procedures.
- Actively seek feedback to improve performance and support personal and professional growth.
Qualifications
- At least 1–2 years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused, high-touch retail environment.
- Previous experience with luxury or premium brands in high-volume locations.
- Open availability Friday through Sunday and on all holidays, with flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with strong time management, organization, and multitasking skills, and the judgment to seek guidance when needed.
- Good understanding of store operations, including efficient shipment processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and adaptability.
- Basic computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
