Role & Responsibilities
- Lead store teams to generate sales and profit whilst minimising losses and creating exceptional customer experiences
- Maintain visual distinctiveness and impeccable store maintenance standards
- Identify business growth opportunities and improve performance through cross-functional collaboration
- Maintain corporate visual merchandising directives and standards for sales floor and back room
- Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to ensure clear communication between VM and store teams
- Partner with store management to build on business opportunities and achieve company standards and objectives
- Focus staff on the importance of quality relationships with internal and external customers to build repeat business
- Complete daily and weekly store walkthroughs to evaluate product performance, pricing, staff service levels and inventory
- Communicate sales drivers and issues to the Store Manager to develop strategies maximising business
- Analyse store-level reports and create action plans to improve results
- Assist with manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing and hiring processes; recruit personnel with diverse backgrounds and perspectives
- Build bench strength for key positions including identifying possible successors
- Participate in weekly management and staff meetings
- Clearly communicate store and individual sales goals and key performance expectations to staff
- Provide guidance on improving performance and achieving exemplary mystery shop results
