Burberry seeks a Data Analyst to join the Decision Analytics team within its Data & Analytics division. The successful candidate will deliver customer and commercial analytics, leveraging a modern data stack including Databricks, Looker, and Snowplow to support decisions across commercial, customer, merchandising, marketing, and platform functions. This role combines clickstream analysis, customer segmentation, cohort analysis, and experimentation to unlock actionable insights that drive business value at a global scale.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyse customer behaviour, journeys, and commercial performance to identify opportunities and explain changes in business performance
- Extract, manipulate, and interpret data to elevate stakeholders beyond routine reporting and enable informed decision-making
- Extend knowledge of online and offline marketing to analyse campaigns, customer touchpoints, and behaviour; understand channel influence on commercial trade
- Develop expertise in clickstream and behavioural data to support stakeholders in understanding digital journey value
- Employ analytical methods including cohort analysis, customer segmentation, experimentation, and appropriate statistical techniques with team support
- Prioritise work using value-led criteria and ensure excellence in operational and project delivery
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their challenges, share insights with confidence, and progressively own analytical work
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative, scientific, engineering, or related discipline
- Strong SQL or data querying skills with hands-on experience querying, manipulating, and validating datasets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving foundations with ability to investigate questions, identify patterns, and draw evidence-based conclusions
- Experience delivering data-led analysis or deep-dive investigations on complex topics, working independently and collaboratively
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain analytical findings to non-technical audiences
- Experience with BI or data visualisation tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI (beneficial)

Education
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, scientific, engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience demonstrating strong analytical foundations.
